Tim White

Founder / Managing Partner

Tim is a founder and managing partner of Star Thrower Entertainment. Most recently, Tim produced INGRID GOES WEST, directed by Matt Spicer and starring Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and sold to NEON. He produced Rob Reiner’s LBJ starring Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Richard Jenkins, which will release in the fall of 2017, and Executive Produced Taylor Sheridan’s WIND RIVER with Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olson, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by The Weinstein Company in the fall of 2017. He produced Kasra Farahani’s THE GOOD NEIGHBOR, which premiered at SXSW in March 2016. Tim is currently producing A CROOKED SOMEBODY, directed by his brother and co-founder Trevor White, and starring Rich Sommer, Clifton Collins, Jr., Joanne Froggatt, Amy Madigan and Ed Harris. Tim also produced Trevor’s first film JAMESY BOY which premiered in 2014. Tim also has many other film and television projects in various stages of development and production, including a television series at HBO. Tim is a graduate of Williams College where he won an NCAA tennis championship.

Trevor White

Founder / Managing Partner

Trevor is a founder and managing partner of Star Thrower Entertainment. Trevor produced Rob Reiner’s LBJ starring Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Richard Jenkins and Executive Produced Taylor Sheridan’s WIND RIVER with Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olson, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by The Weinstein Company in the fall of 2017. He produced Kasra Farahani’s THE GOOD NEIGHBOR, which premiered at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival.  Trevor co-wrote and directed JAMESY BOY, starring James Woods, Mary-Louise Parker, Ving Rhames and Taissa Farmiga, which premiered in 2014, and he recently wrapped shooting his next directorial effort, A CROOKED SOMEBODY, starring Rich Sommer, Clifton Collins, Jr., Joanne Froggatt, Amy Madigan and Ed Harris. He has many other film and television projects in various stages of development and production, including a television series at HBO. Trevor is a graduate of Cornell University.

Allan Mandelbaum

Head of Production

As the Head of Production at Star Thrower Entertainment, Allan is an Executive Producer on  INGRID GOES WEST, directed by Matt Spicer, and starring Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen, which premiered in competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and will be released later in the year through NEON. He also is an Executive Producer on the upcoming film, LBJ, directed by Rob Reiner and starring Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Richard Jenkins. Last year, Allan produced THE GOOD NEIGHBOR, directed by Kasra Farahani, which premiered at South by Southwest in March 2016. Prior to joining Star Thrower, Allan held development and production positions at Hugh Jackman’s SEED Productions, Fox 2000 and Gavin Polone’s Pariah Productions, as well as worked for the Endeavor Talent Agency. Over the past decade, he’s played a role in developing several features including DRIVE, THE WOLVERINE, MARLEY & ME, A GOOD YEAR, and WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. Allan currently has many other film and television projects in various stages of development and production, including a television series at HBO.

Rick Rickertsen

Partner

Rick Rickertsen is a partner in Star Thrower entertainment as well as a founder of Pine Creek Partners,
a private equity firm specializing in partnering with management teams to acquire small companies. Rick is a
long-time film investor and has written five screenplays. He has also written two successful business books,
“Buyout,” and “Sell Your Business Your Way.” Rick is currently a Director of Apollo Senior Floating Rate Fund,
Berry Plastics, MicroStrategy Incorporated and Noranda Aluminum. He served for four years as
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Semester-at-Sea, a not-for-profit, global shipboard education institution
affiliated with the University of Virginia. Rick is a graduate, with distinction, of Harvard Business School and Stanford University..

Mary Solomon

Partner

Mary Solomon is a partner in Star Thrower Entertainment. Mary serves as Executive Producer on the upcoming “Ingrid Goes West” (2017), starring Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen. She is a Co-Producer on “LBJ” (2016), directed by Rob Reiner, starring Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Richard Jenkins, premiering at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. She is a Producer on Broadway’s hit musical, “Beautiful: The Carole King Story” (2014), now also in its second year of a sold-out US tour as well as a successful run on London’s West End.  Mary served as Associate Producer on the Off-Broadway production of “Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays” (2011) in New York and Los Angeles as well as “The Deal” (2008), starring William H. Macy and Meg Ryan. Mary is currently developing a variety of scripts for stage, film and television. Mary is a member of the Board of Directors of Team Rubicon USA, the country’s only disaster response veterans service organization, and she is an Honorary Trustee of the American Museum of Natural History.
